Is She. . . .

Talking out both sides of her mouth or just blowing smoke up our asses? Both?

In one article, I read:

Hillary Clinton began her run for the White House assuming she could phone in her campaign. But the American people didn't get the message. Hell hath no fury like a control freak thwarted. Because she lags behind Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) in electoral delegates and popular votes, her Presidential ambitions are likely to rest on the Democratic Party elites known as superdelegates. Clinton appeared on the Today Show, fresh from her Ohio victory, and let slip what she really thinks of the electorate.

When asked whether those party insiders had a responsibility to align themselves with the popular vote, she responded: "That's not the way the process works.… [Superdelegates] are to exercise independent judgment. It's very important that they exercise that judgment based on who they believe will lead to the best nominee.… Superdelegates are supposed to take all that information on board and supposed to be exercising the judgment that people would have exercised if this information and challenges had been available several months ago."

But in another article, I read:

"I am here for one simple reason: to make sure Michigan's votes are counted and your voices are heard in this election," the New York senator said in a hastily arranged visit to the state.

So what, exactly, is her point? She made it clear she doesn't want to hear from us, by backing the DNC's decision to tell us here in Michigan clearly and resolutely to FUCK OFF, and now that she is in desperate need of votes, she changes course and says she wants to hear from us? But wait! She said that only the voices of the superdelegates matter anyhow since they're the ones with the information needed to make a "sound decision" as to who should be candidate for the party, so. . .

I'm a Michigan voter, and here's what I have to say: You're talking out both sides of your mouth, Hillary, and showing your true colors. You don't really want to hear from me and my fellow Michiganders, or you would have went to bat for us against the DNC when they decided to strip us of our delegates - instead you agreed with that sanction. You don't want us to make a decision anyhow - you want those "in the know" to make it. I'm tired of you and ALL politicians blowing smoke up my ass.

Again, I claim no party affiliation whatsoever (although I am registered Republican). I will vote for a candidate based on his/her qualifications, record, beliefs, and PERSONALITY regardless of their party. And in my opinion, you have NO qualification to sit in the Oval Office (being First Lady does not make a qualification), you have a piss-poor record full of shady dealings and scandals, you believe We The People are idiots, and you have no personality - an irritating chicken cackle doesn't automatically buy you membership into THAT club.

I'm not happy that the major parties have this type of system in place to select candidates. Anyone who wants to run should run, regardless of whether there are 8 Democrats and 6 Republicans on the ticket along with a smattering of independents. We are already bound and gagged by the Electoral College, so why tie us down further and kick us while we're down? As a Michigan voter, my "party leaders" chose to violate the rules they agreed to BEFOREHAND, set up by their own Party, and the sanctions imposed by the Party were made PERFECTLY clear if Michigan proceeded in its course. They did what they wanted, broke the rules, and punishment was handed down. Now the DNC needs to stick to it. Allow the delegates from Michigan and Florida to be seated after saying they will not, no matter what convoluted process you follow to put them there, proves only that the Democrat Party doesn't have the balls to lead this country and I will NEVER vote for a Democrat candidate for ANY office, ever, no matter what their qualifications, record, beliefs, or personality. PERIOD.
