Encroaching Government

In yet another attempt to constrict, restrict, and further diminish our fundamental God-granted rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, another piece of (previously discarded) legislation is finding itself being fast-tracked through Congress, having already passed the House and now sitting in the Senate awaiting rubber-stamp approval:

H.R. 20 - "Melanie Blocker Stokes Mom's Opportunity to Access Health, Education, Research, and Support for Postpartum Depression Act' or the `Melanie Blocker Stokes MOTHERS Act'"

Congress is opening the door ever wider for power- (and money-) hungry Child Protective Services agencies across the country to legally kidnap even more children from their parents (without the benefit of due process of law - after all, parental rights is a civil issue and Thank Heavens For Clear And Convincing Rules, Can I Get An AMEN!), under the guise of "providing services" for mothers and "[ensuring] the well-being of the mother and family and the future development of the infant."

For good measure, they are simultaneously sticking a few more coins in the Big Pharma slot machine and waiting for the big jackpot payout.
